Darth Vader Returns To Star Wars As Hayden Christensen Is Cast In ‘Ahsoka’ Series

The chosen one is returning to Star Wars. According to THR, Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker AKA Darth Vader in the new live-action Star Wars show Ahsoka. Hayden Christensen has been portraying the character since 2002 with Attack of the Clones. The show will be on Disney+.
Rosario Dawson will portray the iconic Jedi Knight. There was no mention of Christensen appearing in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series yet. Disney didn’t comment on Darth Maul’s return either.

Dave Filoni is writing the show, and exec producing with Jon Favreau, creator of The Mandalorian. There are no details on how Christensen will fit into the show. the show is set five years after Return of the Jedi, therefore Vader is technically dead. Considering Tano was his padawan, it will more than likely be flashbacks.
Christensen last played the character in Star Wars Episode II: Clone Wars and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Disney announced the show at its 2020 Investor’s Day event. This is one of the most highly anticipated shows on the upcoming Disney+ roster, and the hype just grew.
