Former WWE Superstar Windham Rotunda To Star In New Horror Movie

Over the last few months, the WWE has handed out a bevy of release notices to a handful of wrestlers on their roster. Among the performers suddenly without a job, one of the most surprising names was Windham Rotunda AKA Bray Wyatt. However, in a recent conversation with Metro, Rotunda has secured his first big post-WWE project in the form of an upcoming horror movie.

Callosum Studios owner/special effects makeup artist Jason Baker explained to the news outlet that he is working alongside Rotunda for the film.

“He’s a phenomenal collaborator, he’s become a really good friend. We’re starting a film at the end of the month. Two weeks to go, we’re filming in Tennessee.” he said. “It’s a feature film and it’s something really new and different. I’d say probably the best way to describe it is Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu. We had some meetings out there and things happened and things got moving forward, and now we’re going and shooting this feature film with him and the end of the month. It should be fun. Hopefully fans of horror and fans of Windham like it!”

A few weeks ago, Baker took to social media to share a photo of him and Rotunda standing in what appears to be a Warner Bros. movie lot in Burbank, CA. However, at this time, it is not clear if the studio is attached to the mystery horror film at this time. Check out the post below!

As Bray Wyatt, Rotunda is one of the most prolific pro wrestlers in recent years. Throughout his career, earned both the WWE Championship as well as the WWE Universal Championship. Additionally, the performer touts victories over John Cena and physical altercations with the likes of Dwayne Johnson and Hulk Hogan. Moreover, Rotunda likely hopes to follow Johnson, Cena, and Dave Bautista in a successful move from WWE to Hollywood.
