‘Shang-Chi’ Merch Reveals New Look At Film’s Cast In Costume & More

Newly surfaced merchandise for Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings has revealed a new look at the film’s cast of characters and more. Included is a new look at Razor Fist, Death Dealer, and what appears to be a dragon.
Unreleased Pop! Funkos from the film recently surfaced online, providing fans with a new look at the main cast. Based on the promotional merchandise, the film has changed many characters’ designs from the comics to make them work better for the film.

The new toys highlight several characters, including Shang-Chi, Awkwafina’s Katy, Mang’er Zhang’s Xialing, Florian Munteanu’s Razor Fist, Tony Chiu-Wai’s Mandarin, and Fala Chen’s Jiang Li. Many of the characters’ looks appear to be streamlined from the comics, including Shang-Chi and the Mandarin. This was most likely to give them an air of realism for the film.
In addition to these, Pop! Funkos, a final toy also leaked, confirming a dragon of some kind will appear in the film. Previous leaks provided a look at what appeared to be one, but this toy seems to confirm it now. It’s believed this is actually the character of Fin Fang Foom, but unfortunately, the box art only refers to them as The Great Protector, so this is yet to be confirmed.
The release of the highly anticipated film was recently delayed from February 12 to September 3. This move was made after Marvel Studios’ Black Widow was also delayed.
