‘Shang-Chi’ Merch Reveals New Look At The Hero, Mandarin, & More

Previously leaked art for Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings revealed the first look at the titular character and several other characters, but now additional merchandise has offered a better glimpse at his design. Newly surfaced Marvel Legends figures have revealed a new look at Shang-Chi, the Mandarin, Xialing, and Death Dealer.
As you can see in the images below, the film has gone with a more tactical version of Shang-Chi’s costume from the comics. Additionally, it seems the film may go in a different direction with the classic Ten Rings.

The Mandarin figure appears to have ten armbands which could be his version of the Ten Rings. For now, this is speculation, given the fact the figure is not wearing typical rings on his hands.
The release of the highly anticipated film was recently delayed from February 12 to September 3. This move was made after Marvel Studios’ Black Widow was also delayed.

The film stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung as the Mandarin, Awkwafina as Katy, Mang’er Zhang as Xialing, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, Fala Chen as Jiang Li, and Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist.
