Marvel Studios Has Spoken With Deborah Chow About Multiple Projects

Marvel Studios may be in the process of tapping a rising director to helm some potential projects. According to MCU Cosmic, Marvel has spoken with Deborah Chow about multiple projects they have in development.
Chow, who has most recently worked on The Mandalorian, is no stranger to Marvel having directed episodes of Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. Following her work on The Mandalorian, Chow has become a hot name in the industry, so it makes sense why Marvel would reach out to her.

There is no word on which projects the two parties have discussed, but one likely candidate is Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel 2. The studio has made it clear they want a female director to helm the film, and Chow has proved she can handle big-budget science fiction pieces. Previous rumors suggested that Michelle MacLaren was in talks to direct, but as of now, there have not been any further updates.
Chow is set to direct the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+, so any potential Marvel projects would have to be after the former is completed. Additionally, if the series is as successful as The Mandalorian, this would further secure Chow a spot in directing a Marvel Studios project.
