‘The Mandalorian’: New Details On Ahsoka’s Appearance Potentially Revealed

A few months ago, reports that Daredevil star Rosario Dawson had been cast as the live-action Ahsoka Tano surfaced. Since then, her iteration of the character is rumored to appear the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series and, possibly, a show of her own. Regardless of what the future holds, Ahsoka will appear in live-action for the first time during season two of The Mandalorian. A new report from StarWarsNewsNet provides new details regarding the highly anticipated debut.
First, Ahsoka will reportedly don a dark gray robe, similar to her final appearance in The Clone Wars. Her character arc in the animated series became a staple of the show’s narrative and her final appearance left the door open for a continuation of her story. Rumors compare her look to Gandalf’s resurgence as the white wizard in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Additionally, her famous Togruta Lekku head tails will be on full display as well.
Additionally, and perhaps most exciting, Ahsoka is rumored to wield a lightsaber during the events of The Mandalorian season two. Throughout her appearances in Star Wars: Rebels and The Clone Wars, the Jedi wields two light blue lightsabers. However, during her final appearance, she was holding just one. It is currently unknown if she will have both at her disposal, but she will at least have one. Moreover, her appearance will reportedly see her in action as well.
