‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Casts Rosario Dawson As Ahsoka Tano

A fan-favorite character from Star-Wars: The Clone Wars will be appearing in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. According to Slashfilm, Rosario Dawson has been cast as Ahsoka Tano.
This will be Ahsoka’s first live-action appearance after making her debut in The Clone Wars voiced by Ashley Eckstein, who reprised the role in Star Wars: Rebels. The character was co-created by Dave Filoni and George Lucas as Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan apprentice. Since then, she has become a fan-favorite among the Star Wars fandom and has appeared in comics, her own novel, video games and as one of the voices heard by Rey in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Filoni made his live-action directorial debut helming episodes of The Mandalorian‘s first season and will be returning for the second season. It stands to reason that Ahsoka will appear in one or more of these episodes. Currently, it’s unclear how large of a role her character will play in the upcoming season.
