Jesse Eisenberg is a staple of modern Hollywood. His roles in films like The Social Network and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice have endeared him to fans of his quirky, intelligent demeanor. However, the actor will next step behind the camera with his latest endeavor. As first reported by Deadline, Eisenberg has written and will direct a new film with Julianne Moore and Finn Wolfhard attached to star.
The film, titled When You Finish Saving The World, will reportedly be a comedy-drama based on the upcoming Amazon Audible Original of the same name. The upcoming six-part audio show will focus on three members of a family as they navigate life and love. The three main characters are Nathan, a new father, Rachel, a young college student, and Ziggy, a teenager desperate to figure his life out. Per the initial report, the film will be loosely based on the Audible series but focus more on a mother-son story instead.
