‘The Mandalorian’: Jamie Lee Curtis Rumored To Appear In Season 2

When Disney launched its streaming service, fans were eager to check out the first live-action series set in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian became universally beloved and received a host of favorable reviews from fans and critics alike. Season 2, premiering this fall, will attempt to top what the first season accomplished. As first reported by MakingStarWars.net, Jamie Lee Curtis is rumored to appear in season 2.
Jamie Lee Curtis is a staple of modern Hollywood and has been since her acting debut in 1978. The new rumor places Curtis at the location of the second season’s production. While the rumor does not hint at who the actress will play, it is certainly a big acquisition for the series. Curtis earned a Golden Globe in 1995 for playing the starring role of Helen Tasker in James Cameron’s action comedy film True Lies. Additionally, her roles in the Halloween series has endeared her to fans for decades.
Take this new rumor with a grain of salt for now. However, it follows the confirmation that Terminator star Michael Biehn was cast in an unknown role. Comedian Bill Burr will return as Mayfeld for season 2 as well.

The second season is shaping up to be rather ambitious. For example, series star Giancarlo Esposito recently teased some major Lightsaber action in season two. Moreover, Daredevil star Rosario Dawson will appear as the fan-favorite character from the Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars and Rebels Ahsoka Tano. Additionally, WWE Superstar Sasha Banks will reportedly appear in the upcoming season as well.
