Sylvester Stallone To Star In Michael Bay’s ‘Little America’

Legendary actor Sylvester Stallone is showing absolutely zero signs of slowing down any time soon. With recent roles in Creed and Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, the action star continues to grow his legacy. As first reported by Deadline, Stallone will star in the upcoming action-thriller from Michael Bay Little America.
Stallone will play a former Army Ranger hired by an Asian billionaire to find his daughter. He must navigate the dark underbelly of “Little America”, a city in Hong Kong where many Americans now reside. Additionally, the film will be set in a dystopian future where America is a bankrupt and hellacious warzone.

With a script by Rowan Athale (The Rise), Universal Pictures won a long-standing bidding war with rival studios for the project. Additionally, Transformers producer Michael Bay will produce the film through his Platinum Dunes outfit. Production will likely begin this summer.
Stallone can last be seen in 2019’s Rambo: Last Blood. The film received mostly favorable reviews and grossed over $91 million at the worldwide box office. Additionally, the actor will star in the new superhero film Samaritan.
