Groff, who provides the voice for Kristoff in the Frozen films, is in the midst of a budding transition from stage to screen. His performance in Netflix’s Mindhunter series is praised by fans and critics alike. Groff’s role is currently unknown. However, it wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine him in a suit a la Agent Smith. He joins the ensemble cast which already includes Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett-Smith, who will reprise their roles from past Matrix films. Additional newcomers to the saga include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, & Jessica Henwick.
Lana Wachowski is also returning to write and direct the film. Warner Bros will produce and distribute the film in collaboration with Village Roadshow Pictures.
