Neil Patrick Harris Joins The Cast Of ‘Matrix 4’

A few months ago, Warner Bros. announced that it was returning to the wildly successful Matrix franchise. It was also announced that series stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss will reprise their roles. Additionally, as first reported by Variety, the originals will be joined by How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris.
Best known for his roles on TV and across Broadway stages, Harris has yet to really take his talents over to any huge blockbuster franchise. He has most recently appeared in the Netflix series A Series of Unfortunate Events, as well as a big role in 2014’s Gone Girl.
Additionally, the fourth Matrix film is set to be directed by Lana Wachowski. Matrix fans will recognize the name as the driving force behind the entire series of films.
Harris will not be the only newcomer choosing a red or blue pill. It was recently revealed that Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has been cast.
