RUMOR: ‘Ant-Man 3’ Could Introduce The Young Avengers

The end of Avengers: Endgame displayed a happy ending for Scott and Cassie Lang. The now-teenage Cassie snuggled up with her dad and the newly returned Hope Van Dyne on a nice peaceful night. However, nothing else was teased about the future of Ant-Man or The Wasp. Well, according to a new rumor from the Murphy’s Law podcast, the third Ant-Man movie could introduce the Young Avengers to the MCU.
Longtime insider Charles Murphy doesn’t expand on the rumor at all, but he does stress that this is just a rumor. Therefore, it should be taken with a few grains of salt. However, last month Full Circle reported that Marvel Studios was developing a Young Avengers series for the Disney+ streaming service.

Either way, Young Avengers doesn’t seem like a bad new direction for the MCU to go in. With Cassie Lang AKA Stature, played by Emma Fuhrmann, all grown up after The Blip, she could be gearing up as a superhero soon. In addition, Marvel’s Cheif Creative Officer Kevin Feige promised Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel would appear in films following her Disney+ series. A Hawkeye series featuring Kate Bishop is also in development.
Additionally, it has been rumored that Vision and Wanda Maximoff’s children, Wiccan and Speed, would be introduced during the events of WandaVision. Together, this looks like the making of a solid young group of heroes to take up the mantle of Avengers. Characters like Black Panther‘s Shuri and Spider-Man could also join in leadership roles.
