‘Hustlers’ Star Cardi B Joins The Cast Of ‘Fast & Furious 9’

The upcoming tenth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise is getting even bigger with its latest cast addition. Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist Cardi B has seemingly joined the family, as first seen on series star Vin Diesel’s Instagram feed.

The cast of the next Fast film is eclectic, to say the least. Series regulars Deisel, Michele Rodriguez, and Tyrese Gibson will return. In addition, newcomers like the 16-time WWE Champion John Cena and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Michael Rooker.

Cardi, whose album Invasion of Privacy is certified triple platinum, continues her transition to Hollywood with the latest venture. She was last seen in Hustlers. Additionally, she will join a long line of musicians who have cameos in Fast and Furious.
Directed by Justin Lin with a script by Chris Morgan and Daniel Casey, Fast & Furious 9′s production is winding down. While many of the cast is set to return to the film, some might not be along for the ride. Following the overwhelming success of the franchise spinoff Hobbs & Shaw, it is still unlikely Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will return to the main films.
