Hulu Not Moving Forward With Marvel’s ‘Ghost Rider’ Series

Earlier this year, it was announced that Marvel Television was developing a Ghost Rider series for Hulu. The series would star Gabriel Luna as he reprised his role from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Unfortunately, as first reported by Deadline, the streaming service has decided not to move forward with the series.
The announcement came along with the news of a Helstrom series. While that series is still alive and well, Hulu and the creative team behind Ghost Rider hit a roadblock in the creative process and never recovered.

Hulu, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, still has a strong relationship with Marvel. The streaming service is set to air the third season of The Runaways this December. Next year will also see four connected animated Marvel shows. M.O.D.O.K, Hit-Monkey, Tigra & Dazzler Show and Howard The Duck will culminate in a special event, Marvel’s The Offenders.
This report comes on the heels of a rumor that Marvel Studios was interested in integrating the Ghost Rider character into their films.
