Samuel L. Jackson Reportedly Joins Tarantino’s ‘The Movie Critic’

Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated final film seems to have tapped a familiar star. According to insider Daniel Ritchman, Samuel L. Jackson has joined the cast of The Movie Critic.
While plot details have been kept relatively under wraps, it will reportedly be about a film critic in the 70s who wrote for a “porno rag.” Tarantino is looking to cast someone in their mid-30s for the role and added that he would like them to be American.

Jackson is a regular in Tarantino’s films, having had a role in six of his nine prior films. The star was recently asked during an interview with Vulture if he would appear in The Movie Critic, to which he answered,
“No Comment.”
As of now, though, there is no official comment from the star or director concerning the casting. Set for release next year, it may be some time before any casting is made official.
