‘El Muerto’: Krondon In Final Talks To Play Tombstone
Sony Pictures’ highly anticipated El Muerto has reportedly found its villain. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Black Lightning‘s Krondon is in final talks to join the project as Tombstone.
Created by Gerry Conway and Alex Saviuk in 1988, Tombstone made his debut in Web of Spider-Man #36. Typically portrayed as an enemy of Spider-Man and Daredevil, the character is a classic street-level villain in the Marvel Universe.
This is not the first time Krondon will portray Tombstone in a Marvel project. The American rapper and actor previously voiced the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Additionally, the star played Tobias Whale in The CW superhero drama Black Lightning.
Created by Peter David and Roger Cruz in 2006, El Muerto debuted in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #6.
