RUMOR: Adam Driver In Final Talks To Play Reed Richards In ‘Fantastic Four’

Marvel Studios is looking to tap an A-List talent to headline their Fantastic Four reboot. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Adam Driver is in final talks to star as Reed Richards.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, Mister Fantastic first appeared in The Fantastic Four #1. A founding member and leader of Marvel’s first family, Reed Richards is a genius-level intellect that was gifted the ability to stretch his body into any shape after being bombarded by cosmic radiation.

Driver has been one name rumored to be attached to the role for some time. Now Richtman has reported he is in final talks to join the MCU as the iconic superhero. Richtman did not confirm any other members of the Fantastic Four yet, but they will surely be announced soon as production draws near.

The Academy Award-nominated actor is no stranger to franchise roles having starred as Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Driver has also appeared in many critically acclaimed films, including BlacKkKlansman, Marriage Story, and The Last Duel.
