‘Avatar 2′ Scribe Josh Friedman To Pen Marvel Studios’ ‘Fantastic Four’

Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated Fantastic Four reboot has found a new writer to pen the script. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Friedman, who most recently worked on Avatar: The Way of Water, has been tapped to write the project.
Former WandaVision key director Matt Shakman is on board to helm the film and kick off Phase 6 of the MCU. Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer were previously attached to write the movie, but it seems Marvel Studios is taking the story in a different direction. The former writers are known for their comedy scripts, such as the in-development K-Pop: Lost in America and Disaster Wedding.
