‘Zom 100: Bucket List Of The Dead’ Anime Announced

It has been confirmed another hit manga series will soon have its own anime. The Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime has been officially announced and is set to premiere this July.
Written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata, the series was first published in 2018 by Monthly Sunday Gene-X. The series follows Akira Tendo, a 24-year-old office worker living in a trash-filled apartment. After being exploited at a soulless corporate job for three years, his beautiful co-worker Ohtori is the only thing keeping him going. So when Akira wakes up one morning to find the city swarming with zombies, he realizes he’s never felt more alive as he never has to go to work again.

A teaser for the series was released, along with a key visual that can be found above. The series will stream on Hulu and is scheduled to air in July.
Shuichiro Umeda has been confirmed to voice Akira and lead the series. BUG FILMS is the production company in charge of the anime with Kazuki Kawagoe directing. Hanako Ueda will serve as assistant director, while Hiroshi Seko has been tapped as series composer.
