The Winter 2023 anime schedule is upon us, and with it, a number of exciting premieres. So, with so many shows premiering in the coming weeks, getting lost along the way can be easy. The long-awaited second season of Makoto Yukimura’s Viking epic is finally here. Picking up a year after the first season, Thorfinn finds himself living as a slave as he must find a new reason to go on living.

The Misfit Of Demon King Academy
Anos Voldigoad is still working to reclaim his title of Demon King after being reincarnated 2000 years after his death. The second season will follow the overpowered protagonist as he continues to battle through his demon descendants.

Tokyo Revengers
As Takemichi Hanagaki continues to slide through time to save the lives of his friends, he is set to encounter new threats. The second season will see him face new gangs and even more hardships.

Bungo Stray Dogs
The fourth season of the popular anime from Studio Bones will see the Armed Detective Agency implicated in a plot orchestrated by a terrorist organization called Decay of the Angel. To clear their names, the agency will have to not only thwart the terrorists’ plot but avoid an elite task force bent on their destruction.

Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro
Season 2 of the fan-favorite romantic comedy will see the return of Senpai and Nagatoro. As the latter continues to tease Senpai, this season promises laughs and some exciting developments for the duo.

Nier: Automata Ver1.1a
The anime adaptation of the hit video game will retell the story of 2B and 9S, two android soldiers in a war to protect humanity in a postapocalyptic future. Game director Yoko Taro is set to consult on the series, which is being produced by A-1 Pictures in partnership with Aniplex.

Tomo-chan Is a Girl!
Tomo Aizawa is a tomboy who has always had a crush on her childhood friend Junichiro Kubota, but he’s always seen her as one of the boys. In this romantic comedy, watch as Tomo-chan tries to prove her love to her friend as hilarity ensues.

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible
Junta Shiraishi is so quiet and plain that his classmates and teachers never notice him. That is until his classmate Kubo starts paying attention to him and dares him to do new and exciting things.

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague
When Himuro-kun, the living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore, gets emotionally overwhelmed, he ends up causing blizzards. This becomes a problem when he falls for his unique yet kind coworker Fuyutsuki as he starts freezing others around him.

Trigun Stampede
The series follows Vash the Stampede, a pacifist gunslinger, as he searches a desert planet for his twin brother, Knives Millions. This new take on the classic series is set in an all-new continuity from the original manga and 1998 anime, so it should be exciting for new and old fans.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill
The series follows Mukouda Tsuyoshi, who lives in modern Japan until he is accidentally summoned to a fantasy world of sword and sorcery. With laughable stats and seeing no use in staying in the kingdom that brought him here, he sets out on his own. So with his unique skill that allows him to buy modern goods in a fantasy world, Mukouda discovers the absurd effects his items have on his new home. Based on Ren Eguchi’s light novel of the same name, this series hails from studio MAPPA.
