Animated ‘Avatar’ Series Set After ‘Legend Of Korra’ In Development

It looks like Paramount and Avatar Studios are planning to explore the world of Avatar after Korra’s time. According to Avatar News, an animated series focused on the next bender in the cycle after Korra is in development.
The series is reportedly set to premiere on Paramount+ in 2025. Additionally, it seems the studio has plans for the character as an animated movie focused on them will also come to theaters in the years after the show.
This series will release the same year as the previously announced animated film focused on an adult Aang and friends. It has been implied the film will be the studios’ first project, so it seems likely the series will be released after it, which would mean a November or December release date.
As of now, nothing is known about the future Avatar, but it will be interesting to see what they are like in comparison to Aang and Korra. Additionally, given the time jump from The Last Airbender to The Legend of Korra, it is exciting to consider what the world of Avatar may look like for them.
