Keke Palmer To Star In Amazon’s Action Comedy ‘Moxie’

Keke Palmer has been wowing audiences in films and on TV since she was a child and it appears the multihyphenate is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. Up next, as first reported by Deadline, Palmer will lead the cast of a new film in the works for Amazon titled Moxie.
Hawkeye director Bert is on board to direct with Heather Quinn (Werewolf by Night) penning the script. Amazon Studios will finance and distribute the film. In addition to her role on-screen, Palmer will also serve as an executive producer alongside her mother Sharon Palmer, Peter Lawson (John Wick), and Kate Churchill (Spotlight).

Per the initial report, Moxie follows a foul-mouth stripper (Palmer) who finds herself at odds with the FBI. Turns out, her specific set of skills makes her the best candidate for a new agent program in the works at the bureau and it doesn’t sit well with those used to the status quo.
2022 has been a game-changing year for Keke Palmer thanks to her award-worthy performance in Jordan Peele’s Nope as well as a voice role in Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear. The actress is currently a very hot commodity with an upcoming hosting gig on Saturday Night Live on the books for this weekend. Up next, Palmer will star alongside Michael Cera in Paramount’s upcoming musical comedy Under the Boardwalk.
