The Fall Guy will be a loose adaptation of the 1980s action-adventure series of the same name. Starring Lee Majors, Douglas Barr, and Heather Thomas, the series follows a group of Hollywood stunt performers who moonlight as bounty hunters. However, the big-screen version will take a different route. Featuring a script penned by Drew Pearce, The Fall Guy will focus on a beaten-down stuntman well past his prime. However, when the stuntman is invited back to work with an actor with whom he has a history, a missing-persons case threatens to unravel the entire comeback story.
Stephanie Hsu originated the theatrical roles of Christine Canigula in Be More Chill and Karen in The SpongeBob Musical and performed in the Broadway runs of both. On-screen, she touts a recurring role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as well. The actress also briefly appears in the MCU in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Up next, Stephanie Hsu will join Michelle Yeoh in the cast of a new Disney+ series titled American Born Chinese.
