Arguably, one of the best Marvel projects to come out of the new Disney+ era has been the Tom Hiddleston-starring Loki. This is especially true given the fact that it is the first of the MCU shows to receive a season 2 order. Now, as first revealed at the 2022 D23 Expo, Ke Huy Quan is joining the Marvel universe in a key role in Loki season two.
Quan appeared on stage at the big event alongside Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, and Owen Wilson, who will all reprise their roles in the continuation of the series. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Eugene Cordero, and Tara Strong are also expected to appear in season two as well. The season is produced by Marvel Studios, with Eric Martin serving as head writer and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team.
As a child actor, Quan played Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The actor also plays Data in The Goonies. In 1990 and 1991, he co-starred as Jasper Kwong in the sitcom Head of the Class over two seasons. However, the talented performer stepped away from the limelight in the 1990s received his film degree from USC School of Cinematic Arts. However, the actor returned in grand fashion as Waymond Wang in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once this year, a role for which he received critical acclaim.
