‘Percy Jackson’ Set Footage Reveals First Look At Main Trio

The highly anticipated Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is currently filming, which has offered fans a first look at the show. Recently footage from the set revealed the first look at the show’s main trio of Percy, Annabeth, and Grover.

Based on Rick Riordan’s New York Times Best Selling series, the books follow Percy Jackson, the demigod son of Poseidon. The first book in the franchise focuses on Percy discovering his godly parentage as he takes refuge in Camp Half-Blood. There he meets other demigod children and takes on ancient monsters as he searches for Zeus’ missing lightning bolt.

The footage above features Walker Scobell’s Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries’ Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri’s Grover Underwood on their quest to find the Master Bolt. Based on additional details from the set, they seem to be in New York near the Empire State Building, which leads to Mount Olympus.

Riordan and Jon Steinberg wrote the pilot for the series, with James Bobin directing. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are set to oversee the series and serve as executive producers alongside Bobin, Rick Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Bert Salke, Monica Owusu-Breen, Jim Rowe, Anders Engström, Jet Wilkinson, and Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, and D.J. Goldberg.
