‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ Season 2 Reportedly In Development
It looks like Lucasfilm still has plans for Star Wars’ most legendary bounty hunter. According to insider Daniel Richtman, The Book of Boba Fett season 2 is in development.
The show’s first season focused on Fett’s rise to power as the new crime lord of Jabba the Hutt’s former territory. Additionally, it revealed new details about what happened to Boba Fett after he fell into the Sarlacc Pit in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The show also crossed over with The Mandalorian and helped to set up season 3 of the latter.

Temuera Morrison starred in the series as the titular character alongside Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The series also included a number of appearances from other Star Wars characters, including Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, and Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.
There is currently no word on when the season will begin production or who will return from the creative team. Based on Richtman’s report, the project is still in early development, so for now, fans should stay tuned for further updates.
