New ‘Marvel Zombies’ Details Revealed At San Diego Comic-Con

During Marvel Animation’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, new details were revealed about the upcoming Marvel Zombies series. A number of familiar faces are set to appear as well as some new arrivals.

The first notable bit of news about the series is that it is set in the same universe introduced in Marvel’s What If…? season one. And in a shocking development, the series will be rater TV-MA and will feature the gore and violence expected of a zombie program.

Marvel Zombies is set to include undead versions of a number of notable characters, including Ghost, Abomination, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Okoye, and Captain America. In addition, there will be some new heroes in the show, such as Jimmy Woo, Kate Bishop, Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, and Yelena. Marvel Animation has scheduled the series to release on Disney+ in 2024.
