‘What If…?’ Season 2 Details Revealed At San Diego Comic-Con

Marvel Animation revealed new details for a number of their upcoming series, including What If…? season 2, at their San Diego Comic-Con panel. The news focused on what to expect in the upcoming episodes and more.

It was finally confirmed that season 2 of the animated series is set to air in early 2023 on Disney+. The season will feature a number of new stories, such as one focused on Hela, a story of Odin vs. Wenwu and the Ten Rings, Captain Carter meeting the Winter Soldier, an adaptation of the 1602 comic, and an episode about Tony Stark on Sakaar meeting Valkyrie and the Hulk.

Additionally, it was announced that a third season of What If…? is already in production. No word on when this season will release but based on the series’ current production schedule and release, it will presumably be in early 2024.
