‘Bridgerton’ Adds Three As Season Three Begins Production

Bridgerton season three has officially started filming as confirmed by a video from the official Bridgerton social media accounts. And with that news comes an announcement from Netflix that three new suitors will enter the Ton’s arena, which are Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon.
Francis will star as the charismatic Marcus Anderson who will draw some ire from the matriarchs of the Ton. Francis has starred in stage productions at the Royal Court Theater to include The Brothers Size and Off the Endz. He is best known for his performance in Netflix’s Stay Close. He will also be in the AppleTV+ series Liason, and Amazon Prime’s The Wheel of Time season 2.

Phillips will bring to life the eccentric Lord Debling. With numerous unusual interests, Debling has wealth and title to draw plenty of interest from the season’s ladies. Phillips has several credits in theater, film, and television, so he’s well experienced. He will soon be seen in Sky’s This England drama series, and he will also be in Christian Cooke’s film Embers. Phoon is relatively new to acting, but he recently finished filming Wreck for BBC Three. He will be portraying Harry Dankworth, who’s not all that bright.
These three join the main cast that hasn’t changed much so far. Another addition to the show which had been announced previously is Hannah Dodd who will be taking over the role of Francesca Bridgerton. Dodd has recently been in Anatomy of a Scandal, Eternals, Find Me in Paris, as well as Harlots.
What do you think of these additions? Will you check out Bridgerton season 3 when it airs on Netflix? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
