Storm Reid To Star In & Produce Paramount’s ‘Becoming Noble’

Actress Storm Reid often stands out in whatever role she’s in and she stands as one of the brightest young stars in Hollywood today. Up next, as first reported by Variety, Reid’s next project is a big one. Per the initial report, Storm Reid will star in and produce a new feature in the works at Paramount Pictures titled Becoming Noble.
Reid will executive produce the film alongside her mother Robyn Simpson under their A Seed & Wings Productions banner. Moreover, Cas Sigers Beedles (Open) is also on board to produce with Nneka Gerstle (High School Musical: The Musical – The Series) penning the screenplay.
Becoming Noble will follow a young American high school senior (Reid). Upon discovering that she is actually the princess of an African nation, she decides to travel to the country in order to discover her heritage and roots. However, she must also decide if she wants to step into the royal life for good. In a joint statement, Reid, Simpson, and Sigers Beedles tout their excitement or the project.

“This has truly been a passion project and we are so excited to bring this story to life,” they said. “Becoming Noble started out as just an idea that we continued to build on together and we now look forward to working with the team at Paramount to hit the ground running.”
Since 2019, Storm Reid has churned out dynamite performances alongside Zendaya in the hit HBO series Euphoria. Additionally, after a starring role in Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time, the actress appeared in big-budget films like The Suicide Squad and The Invisible Man as well. Up next, Reid will star opposite Nia Long in the new-age thriller Searching 2.
