Despite making headlines back in 2017 claiming she was retiring from acting, it appears actress Cameron Diaz is ready to make a big comeback. As first reported by Deadline, Diaz will star in a new action-comedy for Netflix that is appropriately titled Back In Action.
Per the initial report, Diaz will star in the film with Jamie Foxx. Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) will direct the feature from a script he penned along with Brenden O’Brien (Neighbors). Foxx will executive produce the series alongside Beau Bauman (Central Intelligence) and Datari Turner (Video Girl).
In a conversation posted on Twitter, Diaz expresses both excitement and nervousness to return to her old gig.
