After appearing in the hit Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Sith Lord Darth Vader has been a hit among fans. So with the finale now out, I’m sure many are wondering where the character will appear next. And thankfully, we here at Full Circle Cinema have the answer to that question.
Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The titular Jedi Master lives secretly on Tatooine while watching over the young Luke Skywalker. But when Princess Leia Organa is kidnapped, Kenobi must come out of hiding to find her. This ultimately brings him into conflict with the Empire and the Inquisitor Reva, who orchestrated the kidnapping. And in his efforts to bring Leia home Kenobi comes face to face with his former Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, now known as Darth Vader.
Vader is portrayed by Hayden Christensen, marking his return to a galaxy far, far away. He last appeared in the franchise in 2005’s Revenge of the Sith alongside Ewan McGregor’s Kenobi.
So for fans hoping to see Darth Vader again, you can expect him to pop up in a few films, including Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the entire original Star Wars trilogy starting with A New Hope. Vader will play a rather significant role in the franchise but for those looking for additional information, check here.
