Star Wars Celebration is finally here, and as always, they come prepared with new and exciting announcements, teases, and things to chew on for the fans. Here are the highlights of day 2!
The Summer of LEGO Star Wars
For the past two years, there has been a LEGO Star Wars special film on Disney+, and this year will be no different! The next installment is entitled LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation. These films have been highly successful, and a breath of fresh air all around, so I’m glad to see they will continue. The panel talked about what it’s like to develop LEGO content, and introduced their recent transition to collectible and play exclusive sets. They showcased upcoming sets from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, Obi-Wan’s Jedi starfighter from Attack of the Clones, and probably the one that got the most attraction from the audience, a BD-1 set complete with a nameplate and tiny replica! Most of the sets are available to pre-order now on LEGO.com, and you can find the full panel round-up on Star Wars News Net.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures
Young Jedi Adventures is a full-length animated show set in The High Republic era specifically created for preschoolers, early grade-schoolers, and their families. Surprisingly, it will feature Yoda. The iconic Jedi will send Youngling on their own adventures as they start their journeys to becoming Jedi Knights. Themes will focus on compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship without talking down to kids. The show will be on Disney+ and Disney Junior in the spring of 2023! Check out the rest of the details on StarWars.com!
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – The Sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
The sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order was announced in January, and now we get confirmation on the title that leaked last week. Additionally, we got a trailer as well! It feels more mysterious than the last game. Moreover, it takes place five years after the last (putting it right on track to take place with Obi-Wan Kenobi). Notably, this game will only be available on next-gen consoles. You can check out more details in a full interview with Respawn’s Stig Asmussen, director for both video games, on StarWars.com.
