Clancy Brown Has Reportedly Joined The Cast Of ‘Ahsoka’
A Star Wars alum is set to make a new appearance in a galaxy far, far away. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Clancy Brown will reportedly appear in Ahsoka.
Brown is no stranger to Star Wars as he has voiced several characters in shows and games, including Montross in Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, Savage Opress in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Ryder Azadi in Star Wars Rebels. He recently made his live-action debut in the franchise as Burg in season 1 of The Mandalorian.
It is unconfirmed if Brown will reprise his role as Burg as Richtman said his part is currently unknown. It is possible he could return as the character, but there is still a chance he will be portraying someone new.
Brown is also well known for his roles in The Shawshank Redemption, Highlander, and voicing Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants. He is currently set to appear in the highly anticipated John Wick: Chapter 4 and will also voice Lex Luthor in My Adventures with Superman.
Star Wars: Ahsoka hails from writer Dave Filoni, who will executive produce the series alongside Jon Favreau. Lucasfilm is financing the latest Star Wars live-action series with Disney+ handling distribution. Additionally, production on the series has recently begun.
