‘One Piece’ Set Photos Reveal A Completed Red Force & Going Merry

Set photos from Netflix’s upcoming live-action One Piece series have revealed a number of looks at the show’s iconic ships currently being constructed. Now new images have offered a look at finalized designs for two of the most well-known ships in the series, Shanks’ Red Force and the Going Merry.
The image which can be seen below features what looks like the completed Going Merry. The most notable detail is the realistic smiling goat head on the mast and the added decoration along the sides of ship.

Also included is a completed Red Force. Prior set photos had offered a glimpse of the ship while it was still under construction and lacking some final details. One major detail is the dragon head on the mast of the ship which is now clearly visible.
First published in 1997, One Piece is written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. The series is still in print today and has spawned a massive media franchise, including an anime series that first aired in 1999, a number of films, and several video games. In 2022 One Piece became the best-selling manga series in history, with 500 million copies in circulation.
The series is set to star Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu Arata as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibbs as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. With production currently underway, it has not been announced when the show will debut on Netflix.
