‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ Merchandise Reveals New Details About Groot

Recently surfaced merchandise for Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder offered a new look at many of the characters in the film. One such piece even revealed new details about Groot’s appearance in the movie.

As seen in the image below, Groot is featured along with Star-Lord, Gorr the God Butcher, Thor, and Valkyrie. What fans will notice is that Groot appears to still be in his teen form, meaning he has still yet to become a full adult. This suggests that Thor: Love and Thunder may not take place long after Avengers: Endgame, as this was the last we saw of Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy as they departed Earth.

The fourth film in the Thor franchise sees the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Additionally, Taika Waititi confirmed the actress will also take on Thor’s mantle within the events of the film at 2020’s San Diego Comic-Con. Chris Hemsworth will return as the Son of Odin alongside Ford v. Ferrari star Christian Bale, who will play Gorr the God Butcher in the film. Moreover, the film will feature the Guardians of the Galaxy, Korg, and Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif.
