‘Doctor Strange 2’ Merchandise Reveals First Look At A New Wong Variant

Doctor Strange is not the only Master of the Mystic Arts whose variants will appear in the upcoming sequel. A Wong variant will be introduced based on newly surfaced merchandise for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
As can be seen below, there is a second Wong figure included in the line of merchandise. This version is referred to as Defender Wong, so it seems reasonable to assume he comes from the same universe as Defender Strange. While it seems the character has a different costume than the original Wong, not much else is known about them.

In addition to Defender Wong, the new merchandise has offered a look at several other characters in the film. Included are both of Doctor Strange’s variants, including Defender and Supreme, as well as a better look at Wanda, America Chavez, Master Mordo, Christine Palmer, Rintrah, and Gargantos.
Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams are set to reprise their roles from the original film as Wong, Strange’s nemesis Mordo, and Christine Palmer, alongside Cumberbatch, respectively. Xochitl Gomez is also set to make her MCU debut as America Chavez. Raimi took over directing duties for the movie after Scott Derrickson exited the project earlier this year.
