‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ LEGO Set Teases Conflict In New Asgard

Recently Marvel unveiled the first look at a number of tie-in toys for the upcoming film Thor: Love and Thunder. Now a new toy has surfaced online, offering a glimpse at a potential fight in New Agard.
The new LEGO set, which can be seen below, features Thor and Jane flying in to fight Gorr the God Butcher with what seems to be a giant monster in the background. It should be noted that not all LEGO tie-in sets are perfect recreations of events in films but rather hint at what’s to come. This makes the aforementioned set interesting given it is named “Attack on New Asgard”. So given what is known about the film and the set below, fans should expect Gorr to attack the town of New Asgard in the upcoming movie.

The fourth film in the Thor franchise sees the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Additionally, Taika Waititi confirmed the actress will also take on Thor’s mantle within the events of the film at 2020’s San Diego Comic-Con. Chris Hemsworth will also return as the Son of Odin alongside Ford v. Ferrari star Christian Bale, who will play Gorr the God Butcher in the film. Moreover, the film will feature the Guardians of the Galaxy, Korg, and Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif.
