New set photos from HBO Max’s upcoming Batgirl film have offered a glimpse of Michael Keaton’s Batman in action. The images feature the Caped Crusader in his iconic suit alongside J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon.
The images offer a closer look at Keaton’s Batman, who was spotted on set for the first time recently. Comparing the suit to the original from 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns, it seems some minor changes have been made. The Dark Knight is now sporting a black utility belt and a slightly modified cape and cowl. The images also feature J.K. Simmons alongside the hero. It appears to occur in a flashback sequence based on the former’s look.
