‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Announced For 2023; Spin-Off Films Coming

The Heroes in a Half-Shell will soon be making their slimy return to theaters in 2023. The animated film from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will also see many of the villains get their own streaming spin-offs.
The film was first announced in 2020 with Rogen and Goldberg set to produce with their Point Grey productions. It will be an entirely CG reboot of the franchise. The duo have expressed that the film will focus more on the ‘teenage’ part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Along with the release date news, it was also revealed that the film will lead to exclusive Paramount+ spin-off films. These films will focus on different villains from the Ninja Turtles universe. Paramount and Viacom have long expressed an interest in an inter-connected TMNT universe, and it seems like they have a lot of faith in Rogen and Goldberg’s interpretation.
