The Fast and Furious franchise has added another star to its ranks. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aquaman star Jason Mamoa is in talks to join Fast and Furious 10.
Mamoa is reportedly in final negotiations to join the project alongside series star Vin Diesel. Plot details are still under wraps, but it seems the star is set to serve as one of the film’s villains.
F9: The Fast Saga director Justin Lin is set to return to helm the feature. The film will feature returning stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, and Diesel.
Mamoa just wrapped filming on the highly anticipated sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. His upcoming project, Slumberland, is set to release later this year on Netflix.
Fast and Furious 10 recently made headlines when actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirmed he would not reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in the film. Diesel had attempted to court the star to come back to the franchise but was ultimately unsuccessful.
