New images from behind-the-scenes of Marvel Studios’ The Marvels have begun to surface online. And now, one such image has suggested that both Valkyrie and Maria Rambeau will appear in the film.

The image appears to be from within a trailer on the set and features headshots of the actors and actresses in the project. This is interesting because headshots for both Tessa Thompson and Lashana Lynch are among the pictures. This would suggest that both Valkyrie and Maria appear in some form during the movie.

Thompson’s Valkyrie last appeared in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and will also reprise her role alongside Chris Hemsworth in Thor: Ragnarok. Lynch last appeared in 2019’s Captain Marvel alongside Brie Larson.

The film already features a stacked cast, including Larson’s Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan. Rumors have suggested The Marvels will serve as a large event-level film similar to Captain America: Civil War. But beyond this, not much is known about the project.
