Kevin Feige Confirms Charlie Cox Will Continue To Play Daredevil In The MCU

Rumors have been running rampant for two years that characters found in the Netflix corner of the Marvel universe will make their debut in the film side of the MCU. With hints at Wilson Fisk in Marvel’s Hawkeye and an expected return of Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has finally cleared the air. During a conversation with CinemaBlend, Feige confirms that if and when Daredevil appears in his films, Charlie Cox is the only man for the job.
“If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen,” Feige told the outlet.

Previously, rumors pointed at Kevin Feige’s approval of Cox’s portrayal of the character in the Netflix series. Additionally, this all but confirms speculation that Daredevil will have a role to play in the upcoming Disney+ series Echo. Daredevil was by Drew Goddard for Netflix and enjoyed a three-season run, culminating in 2018. Charlie Cox stars as the blind lawyer-by-day who fights crime as a masked vigilante by night. Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent D’Onofrio complete the ensemble cast.
Charlie Cox recently starred in an Irish TV series titled Kin. Additionally, the actor touts notable roles on stage alongside Tom Hiddleston in Broadway’s revival of Betrayal. Up next, the actor is highly rumored to make his MCU film debut as Matt Murdock as Peter Parker’s attorney in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Further rumors point towards Marvel Studios reviving Netflix’s Daredevil for Disney+.
