Live-Action ‘Sleepwalker’ Project Reportedly In Development
A lesser-known Marvel Comics hero may be making his live-action debut soon. According to insider Daniel Richtman, a project centered on Marvel’s Sleepwalker is in development.
Created by Bob Budiansky and Bret Blevins, Sleepwalker first appeared in 1991’s Sleepwalker #1. A being from a different dimension called the Mindscape, the character fends off dangerous creatures that invade the minds of sleeping humans. After being tricked by his archenemy Cobweb, Sleepwalker becomes trapped in the mind of Rick Sheridan and begins to fight crime through his dreams.

Richtman did not reveal whether this project will come in the form of a new series or movie. Lately, Marvel Studios has begun using their slate of Disney+ shows to introduce new characters who will appear in the films later on such as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel. Given the character’s lesser-known status, this could be a good choice for the Sleepwalker’s debut.
