The team has had a number of different members in the comics, so it remains unconfirmed who will form the MCU’s version of the team. It seems likely that the group is already being set up by Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who has already recruited U.S. Agent, aka John Walker, and Yelena Belova. Other potential members from the comics that could join the team include Baron Zemo, Hawkeye, Ghost, Taskmaster, and General Ross.
No official plot has been revealed for the project, but hopefully, new details will emerge as production draws near. It is clear that Marvel has been setting the seeds for the team in their previous projects, so it will be interesting to see it all come to frution.
