DC FanDome promised fans a number of first looks and surprises, and it seems they are already delivering. And during the Black Adam panel, they delivered just such a first look with a glimpse at Aldis Hodge’s Hawman logo.
Hawkman first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (1940). Also known as Carter Hall, the hero is a reincarnation of the ancient Egyptian prince Khufu. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Dennis Neville, Hawkman has been a mainstay of the DC universe and was a founding member of the Justice Society of America. He works closely with his partner Hawkgirl. Moreover, Michael Shanks (Saving Hope) played the role in Smallville, and Falk Hentschel (White House Down) later donned the cowl in The CW’s Arrowverse.
