Warner Bros. and DC are looking to expand their roster of heroes based on a new report. According to Daniel Richtman, there is an Atom movie in development at the studio.
Created by Gardner Fox, Gil Kane, and Murphy Anderson in 1961, the Atom debuted in Showcase #34. The original Atom, Ray Palmer, was a physicist who developed technology that allowed him to shrink himself and other items. Using his powers, he became a hero and went on to join the Justice League. During DC Rebirth, the title was also taken on by Ray’s student and partner Ryan Choi.
The film does not have a cast or a creative team as the project is still in the early stages. Additionally, Richtman did not reveal if the movie will focus on Ray Palmer or Ryan Choi’s version of the character.
