‘Legion’s Dan Stevens To Seemingly Play Kro In Marvel Studios’ ‘Eternals’

It appears that Marvel Studios has kept some star casting a secret from the fans. During a recent interview, Legion star Dan Stevens hinted at the fact that he will be portraying the villain Kro in Chloé Zhao’s highly anticipated Eternals.
Kro was created by Jack Kirby and first appeared in 1976’s The Eternals #1. Often referred to as the Warlord Kro, he is the leader of the Deviants, an offshoot of humans that have battled the Eternals throughout history. Kro was the first Deviant to be created by the Celestials, and like others of his species, he possesses the ability to shape-shift and has superhuman attributes. In the comics, Kro has had an on and off relationship with the Eternal Thena and even fathered her children Donald and Deborah Ritter.

When asked if he could say anything about potentially having a role in Eternals during the interview, Stevens answered, “Kro comment.” He then went on to further hint that he will be playing Kro in the film. Until now, there had been no official confirmation on who would play the character in the movie.
Stevens was previously spotted with the cast of the film thanks to a social media post by actor Kumail Nanjiani. At the time, it was uncertain whether Stevens had a role in the movie or if he was visiting the cast. But now, thanks to the recent interview, fans finally know who will be behind the voice of Kro in the film.
