It was recently confirmed by Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, that the film will include the MCU debut of Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams. The actress reportedly began filming this week, which makes sense given filming is taking place at MIT, where her character attends college. Currently, it is not clear what has brought the Dora Milaje to America and, more specifically, the prestigious university.
The film features returning stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett. Additionally, Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta has joined the movie and is rumored to portray Namor.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will release on May 6, 2022.
